It
gives me great pride to say I work side by side with the most amazing people
of our Tri-County Adirondack Region, and how honored I am to be chairman of
the 2012 United Way Campaign.
As a Town and County Supervisor I know first hand that government is not
always the answer for all of our needs. With the economy and the cost
of living being what it is in this day and age , we need to find it in our
hearts and souls to help our neighbors, friends and families, who have to
rely on these much needed services provided by our 39 partner agencies.
A wise friend of mine once said "that separately we accomplish little, but
together we can accomplish the extra ordinary".
Last year our togetherness enabled us to exceed our campaign goal, I am
confident that we can do it again.
Remember when it comes to lifting the weight off from someone's shoulders
and giving them a piece of mind, no donation is too small and every little
bit helps.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support towards the United Way
of the Adirondack Region, Inc.
